The United Pegasus Foundation offers healthy horses for adoption to private individuals, 4-H Groups, and educational equestrian programs under a contract which stipulates a quality standard of care.


Adoption fees range from $450 – $1800 depending on the horse.


Horses adopted from UPF must never again be raced, and all future transfers of the ownership and contract must be approved by UPF prior to transfer. Approval will not be unreasonably withheld.
