Tehachapi Ranch: (661) 823-9672 Directions to Tehachapi Farm: Take Highway 14 North through Lancaster to Mojave. Drive straight ahead on Highway 58, sign says to Bakersfield. Tehachapi is the next town, 24 miles west of Mojave. Take the third exit in Tehachapi, sign says "Highway 202, Correctional Institute." Follow loop toward town. Go to the second light and take a right at Valley Blvd (Also HWY 202). Go approximately 5 miles on Highway 202 to the "Bear Valley/Stallion Springs" exit. Turn right, on this road - Cummings Valley Road. There will be a four way stop right away but you will proceed straight through that intersection. Stay on the paved road as it makes two VERY SHARP curves and straighten out again. Look for the sign that say “Not a Through Road,” go straight ahead. The street name is “Giraudo.” Go over the little hill and look for Pegasus Road, just on the other side. Road has 2 log arches on each side. Go left on Pegasus Road. Go to the first dirt road on the right hand side the street name Secretariat (sign has been knocked down) go right, the entrance is about 200 yards on the left….. #20411. The gate is probably closed in order to block horses if they get loose. You may enter if unlocked - just please pull the gate closed again. Directions from the 15 freeway. Drive north on the 15 and exit the 395. This will take you to the 58 Highway towards Mojave and Bakersfield. You can also cut across the 138 Highway to the 14 Highway north to Lancaster to Mojave.
